"Photography is my way of expressing my artful soul. I love to share the beauty I see in people, families, love and life. Take a look at the colorful, lively world of images I have created from my heart."

For over 10 years, Stavra Kalina’s eye for photography has created a beautiful collection of artwork. Combining her photography with her artistic nature, she portrays a unique style and sense of beauty in her work. Stavra believes "there is beauty in everyone and everything...you just have to see it." Through the years she continues to enter competitions which she says keeps her work fresh and challenges her artistic ability over and over again.
She credits her numerous awards and accomplishments to her first photography teacher, Rudy Irizarry of Burlington County College and her continuing education and support at the Palm Beach Photographic Center, West Palm Beach, Fla.
Stavra feels her photography is an expression of her love of people, color, beauty and creativity. Her father, Pete Skarlatos is a painter in oils and acrylics and has guided her imagery with his talent for portraiture, architecture and landscapes. Stavra sees herself as a photographer and artist.
